Process & Development
Chemeca also has a well-equipped P&D center with an independent lab, run by a team with extensive expertise and experience in process & development activities.
The main activities of Process Developments are
- Scale-Up (Kilo Lab, Pilot plant trials)
- Transfer technology (production department)
- Process Support (QC and QA)
- Further optimization (change conditions and parameters)
- Minor change of route / intermediate Cheaper / more efficient reagents (new to market)
- Fine-tuning of yield and throughput (Cost reduction)
- Troubleshooting (reworks, reprocessing, deviations)
- New vendor approval (use tests)
- Waste minimization (recycling)
