Mr. Saketh Reddy - Director
Mr. Saketh Reddy serves as a Director of Chemeca Drugs Pvt. Ltd. He has been part of the leadership team since 2021, overseeing the company’s commercial and strategic operations. In addition to this role, Mr. Reddy serves as the Chief Commercial Officer of USA based Bactolac Pharmaceutical, leading Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Sales & Marketing.
With extensive cross-functional experience and a deep understanding of both the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, Mr. Reddy brings a comprehensive and forward-thinking perspective to the organization.
Mr. Reddy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
Mr. Siva Reddy PV - Director
Mr. Reddy brings over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of analytical research and development, pre-formulations, new product development and regulatory submissions. Mr. Reddy served as Associate Vice President with Aurobindo Pharma Limited in India, overseeing the research center in handling all kinds of sterile formulations. He has significant experience in Solid Oral dosages, liquids and Parenterals. Mr. Reddy has also spent over 12 years with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited as the Associate Director of New Product Development in their Generic Pharmaceutical division. Mr. Reddy is responsible for almost 100 ANDA, NDA, EU drug filings throughout the USA, Canada and Europe, and has several patents (US and WO). He has also written several publications. Mr. Reddy holds an MS degree in Pharmacy from Dr MGR Medical University in India.
Dr. P. Raghu Ram - Corporate Vice President, QC, QA&RA
Dr Raghu Ram Pannala leads the Regulatory Affairs and Compliance. He has over 31 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in the areas of Analytical Development, Quality Control Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, and Pharmacovigilance. He has published 25 research publications during his career. Dr. Ram is member of the Regulatory and Quality Advisory Board (RAQAB) of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA).
He is contributing author for PDA FDA Technical report – 80 , ‘Data Integrity Management System for Pharmaceutical Laboratories and sub team lead in PDA Remote Audits & Inspections Team, PDA COVID-19 PtC Task Force. He was past member of IPC {Indian Pharmacopeial Commission} and USP {United States Pharmacopeia} 2005-2010 monographs acquisition committee.
Dr. Ram holds a Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry from Sri Krishnadevaraya University in India. He holds certifications such as a CQA {Certified Quality Auditor} and CMQ/OE {Certified manager for Organizational Excellence} from ASQ {American Society for Quality}, Statistical Quality Control diploma from Indian Statistical institute.
Mr. Sambasivarao Kalisetti - Sr. Vice President-Operations
Mr.Sambasivarao heads the overall site operations at Chemeca Drugs Pvt Ltd. He is a keen student from initial days excelled as chemical Engineer in Process Operations from BITS and University 2nd rank during post-graduation in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Gulbarga University.
He has over 27 years of rich experience in API, HPAI, Peptides and Agro Technical fields having worked as a General Manager in Dr Reddys, Aurobindo and Nagarjuna Agro chemical industries.
He has excelled in Scale up, Validations, Operational excellence, facility creation in green field and brown field projects. Also has proven himself in QRA, HAZOP, PSM and instrumental in securing certifications and successfully completed USFDA and EUGMP audits
He has been well recognized by industry with awards like PSAI excellence award, Best operation group award and Best Train the trainer award etc.
Dr. Venkat Reddy Thangella - Vice President – R&D
Dr. Venkat Reddy Thangella is a distinguished Scientist with an impressive educational and professional background that spans multiple countries and sectors. He earned his first M.Sc. in Chemistry from Osmania University in India, followed by another M.Sc. in Display Technology from Högskolan Dalarna University in Sweden. He then completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the Centre for Pharmaceutical Research and Development at ITT Dublin in Ireland.
Dr. Thangella began his industrial career at Pfizer Global Manufacturing in Ireland, where he contributed to the Process Development Centre. He subsequently moved back to India, where he joined Sapala Organics Pvt. Ltd. as a researcher in medicinal chemistry. His expertise then led him to Issar Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., where he oversaw peptide manufacturing, purification, and Lyophilization divisions. His career later took him to China, where he served as Chief Application Scientist at HanBon Science Technology Co. Ltd., managing small- to large-scale preparative chromatography application facilities. More recently, Dr. Thangella worked at Phenomenex India as Head of Business Development, leading efforts in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, clinical, and life sciences industries. He was responsible for business development and sales in India and the JKOSEA regions, focusing on bulk media and preparative chromatography.
Prior to joining Chemeca Drugs, he served as Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at ManoTri Pharma Pvt Ltd, India, where he spearheaded scientific operations and strategic planning. He has also held key leadership roles at Intech-HanBon Analytical Instruments as Director – Strategic Growth & Scientific Operations, and as a Commercial Head at Amsaal, UAE.
Dr. Venkat Reddy has extensive experience in the manufacturing and scale-up of peptide APIs, with a deep understanding of sophisticated instruments used in peptide API workflows. He is also an accomplished author, having published numerous articles in prestigious international journals. Having lived and worked in five different countries—Sweden, Ireland, China, the UAE, and India—Dr Thangella brings a global perspective and rich expertise to his current roles.
